Carpet Cleaning
CleanSweep provides a full range of carpet cleaning options — from regular cleaning of lightly soiled carpet to restorative cleaning of more heavily soiled carpet.
We use a variety of techniques, including green cleaning for those who have allergies or are chemically sensitive. We also offer pile lifting, which uses a special very powerful vacuum with counter-rotating brushes that open up the pile and remove the deep down dry dirt that conventional vacuums miss.
Our dry extraction cleaning technique produces a near dry carpet almost immediately after cleaning. And, we're the area's only Solar Seal service provider. Solar-Seal® prevents color loss (color fading) and stains on carpet, rugs, upholstery, and drapes. We offer Scotchgarding services too.
Oriental & Area Rugs
Oriental and area rugs are a specialty. Often, oriental and area rugs are considered “works of art,” and thus require special care. Most oriental rugs are made from wool, and the most expensive rugs are sometimes made from silk. Area rugs can be made from many different types of fibers, both natural and synthetic.
Without proper professional treatment and care, an oriental or area rug can be ruined. CleanSweep is uniquely qualified to clean your oriental or area rug. We are central Pennsylvania’s only Master Textile Cleaner certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.
We're also a WoolSafe Approved Certified Operator. We have the special training and know-how for evaluating rug fibers, dyes, materials, and construction to properly clean what may be a prized possession or family heirloom.
All rugs are cleaned in our Pleasant Gap facility, not in your home. We offer pickup and delivery and can assist in putting the rug back down in place. Services include pet odor removal, bleach free rug and fringe cleaning, spot & stain removal, moth proofing, UV fading protection, and Scotchgarding.
